Dismissed from suboxone program

Hello all, I need some advice. I was kicked out of my first program 4 months ago. I’m ready to get back on the subs again, but I’m not sure if I need to tell my new doctor that I have taken them before. I live in Colorado and I’m not sure if they will ask if I’ve ever taken suboxone before or if I’m in some sort of data base. Should I just tell him the truth that I relapsed my first time, or should i just keep it to myself? 1 Reply

Suboxone

I started my program today. 4mg per day is the magic number. I had to take one 2mg then wait an hour to see the Dr again. Then given another 2mg. When I left I felt like I was high. About an hour later I started to throw up. Does it help to take this with food? I know it’s a side affect, does it go away? 1 Reply

Dismissed from suboxone program

I don’t see why it would be a big deal if I had taken subs with another doctor, I can’t imagine I’m the only one that has relapsed and been dismissed before. This time I truly feel like I’m ready to quit and move on with my life. Does anyone know If i should disclose the suboxone treatment I had a few months ago??? I don’t want to get kicked out of this office for not telling them the truth, but if they have no way of knowing what kind of treatment I’ve had in the past I would rather them not know. What should I do??? Is there a paper trail they can look at, or can my insurance blow the whistle on me? 2 Replies

Saboxone

saboxone by far is the best and safest treatment for opiate addiction i have ever tried. Why on earth, is it the hardest treatment to get on? and why cant you get help from the government or insurance to use it? Most opiate addicts i know, when they are knee deep in addiction arent trying to use to get high, they are trying to use to stay straigh so they can work, and live. Why is it more expencive than using heroine?oxy`s? or any other opiate?.. why not make the treatment and cure the easier road to go down, rather than the addiction? 10 Replies

suboxone/morphine addict 300mgs a day

Hey I have a question and some info. I am getting ready to come off of 300 mgs of morphine. Started with vics, soon moved to 80mg of oxys, then to 100mg morphine tabs 3 times a day. I got into a suboxone clinic very expensive. I only pay 120.00 dollars for my morphine and now I have to go and pay 935.00 dollars for the first month without medication? DAMN.. i AM SCARED AND VERY NERVOUS TO START THIS…Any advice? And does anyone get there meds online? Figured if you can get narcotics why not the stuff to cure it? I have looked but I think it might be 2 new. Yes I will have a script for it in 8 days….HELP? 26 Replies

Suboxone – Depression

Hello everybody. I am from Belgium, I am 47, and it has been 6 months now that I take 24mg Suboxone per day. The doctor prescript it – exceptionally, he said – in my case for severe depression (I have a history of drugs addiction, but that was a very long time ago). Suboxone is really saving my life. I feel fine with it, I can function normally. It is really a new life to me. My new psychiatrist want me to go down to 16mg a day, but I don’t. Is there any reason I should go down ? If anyone had a similar experience, I would be very interested in knowing about it. Thank you all in advance. Jo. 5 Replies

What do you do when your tolerance builds up to suboxone? I am on 16mg a day and it is not keeping me from wanting to use. Should i ask my doctor to up my doseage? or should i ask about a different drug? Need any answer, this subject is no where on the internet. 2 Replies

Is Suboxone really right for ME???

I’m quite upset and feel like the rug was pull out from under me. I’ve had five back fusions via three surgies (4 cervical & 1 Lumbo-sacral ) , one surgery for silicone toxicity/ removal, 2-surgies on my hands, 1- surgery on my bladder. I’ve already detox-ed myself off of lortab, phentyl patches prior to each surgery.. My problem now is managing my chronic pain that’s left over…I’m better since the surgeries but far from whole pain wise. I hurt so bad that I can’t shower, or dress without help if I don’t take some form of pain medication. I mearly use 30mg morphine extended release three time a day, as needed at night 1- 10mg percocet or valium to help sleep or decrease muscle spasms. I just don’t feel like I meet the critiera of abuse to warrant me using Suboxone. Plus my doc. told me I’m always gonna have to be on some pain mgmt Due to my Degenerative Disc disease in my back. I feel like he has lied to me and am extremely upset. I don’t crave my pills, I don’t look at the clock waiting for the min. to come to take them. And two if this is a concern why not back down doseage mg/ tid to bid/ ect…of my current meds first since suboxone is clearly addictive too. Plus I’m told I’ll be taking suboxone along with my pain medications just meds at a lower dose…I haven’t read that anywhere either it’s suboxone & quit or No suboxone in the literature….Any comments would be greatly appreciated. 1 Reply
