My girlfriend is coming off of Suboxone and is having some wicked withdrawals…Her stomach hurts, she’s being bitchy to me, and nothing will make her happy right now. She stopped taking Suboxone after she was prescribed Hydrocodone by the doctor when she broke her hand in a car accident. She had been taking Suboxone for about a year. Now it’s been a week and a half and the heavy withdrawal symptoms are starting. She’s still taking Hydrocodone for the hand. How long will the Suboxone withdrawals last? What are some herbal remedies for it? I hate Suboxone and what it has done to her. I wish it would be banned from medical usage. Will the Hydrocodone help with the withdrawals. at all? Or just make it worse? But what else could she do for pain. She says she can’t feel the Hydrocodone very much and it has been a week and a half, shouldn’t she be able to feel the full effects of it by now? When will the Suboxone withdrawals stop? And I don’t know what to say to make her feel better… I’ve never been through the experience of opiate withdrawals. I can’t relate and I wish I could.
I am getting ready to go on saboxone because I have been on pain meds so long. But I am worried that my pain will come back full force when I switch over..Does it also help pain relief?

I live in MA, and I’m on SSDI for BiPolar. I can’t work. I take suboxone for addiction, Invega, Strattera, Lithium, xanax, prilosec, and claritin. Will Medicare part D cover these meds? How does it work? I have Masshealth now, and they pay for everything, but they are making me change to medicare because I’m disabled. I don’t want to switch all my meds. Does anyone know?

I was addicted to opiates for many years,even heroin..all starting when i was a young teen.experimenting soon turned to additcion,etc..one traumatic thing after another also..but i have been taking suboxone for over a year now,jus moved to san jose .its like i was given a second chance at life,n i dont wanna mess it all up again…i do not have medical insurance.I was getting them from a close family member who did have insurance(and has gone thru the addiction n sobriety process the exact same time as me).(kiss my ass this has nothing to do with it all)I dont know where to turn.family dont have a clue to the whole ordeal.I originally moved out here to get away from all the drugs,was impossible to do so living in my hometown in ohio,mofo shit is everywhere.ive done the a.a./n.a. approach,didnt do shit for me(6 months-7 days a week).half the ppl in them rooms were liars and still smokin crack ,whatever.so what i need to know is how do i approach this in a new town,with limited resources.Suboxone is the only thing that has worked for me…seems like there was more to write on here,cant even think straight………

I was on Suboxone 8/2 for about a year. I have presently been taking 1/2 a pill every 12 hours, sometimes a bit less as I am trying to wean. It has been 24 hours since my last dose of 1/2 a pill. Last night at Midnight I had the cramps so I took just less than half of a Oxicodone (old pill I had) for the cramps…that was about Midnight. At 6:15am I took the remaining of that pill. I feel really trippy, dizzy, NERVOUS AS HELL…! I thought I could take this to get rid of those cramps and then go back to taking the Suboxone. I am worred did I OD; overdose or something? Do I need to call 911?? Please help! I have a prescription for Xanax 0.5mg should I take 1 for this nervousness? I feel like I did the last time I took too much Suboxone by accient when I was first getting started with my treatment i AM WORRIED i HAVE OVERDOSED. HELP!! Is this a reaction to the Suboxone posibly still being in my system since I took it for SO long or is this a reaction to my taking half of a 30 mg oxycodone pill then another half of one 6 hours later?? Am I going to die, do I need to call 911??
