Author: Daydreamer Posted: Sat Aug 22, 2009 2:22 pm Response To kevinClean When I first started on Suboxone I was OK withdrawal wise but I did have headaches and terrible depression so I checked out different sites and found out that naloxone sensitive individuals can experience both depression and headaches that can be severe. Also, and I know this sounds like a joke, I am sort of a health nut, and I didn’t want all of the artificial coloring and flavoring that they put into suboxone so I asked my doctor to switch me to subutex. He at first he said he wouldnt do it and so I told him I would find a different doctor so he switched me. I am kind of a con artist which is how I got a different doctor to let me self treat my chronic bac…
Author: jeandianne Posted: Sat Aug 22, 2009 12:54 am Hey Tiff, Welcome, I had gastric bypass in 2002, started abusing opiates in 2004 and went on suboxone in 2005. I Started at 16 mg and now am at 6 mg of suboxone. I’m sure that you noticed that you did not get as good pain relief after your surgery as would have been optimal. At 16 mg of suboxone I may have had some minor withdrawal type symptoms from naloxone in sub, but thought it was in my head. At 6 mg i don’t seem to have any symptoms. Good luck and advocate for yourself. Even though there is prejudice out there against addicts we still should not be mistreated by the people who are suppose to care for us. The gastric bypass surgeons tell us that we will never have such a …
Author: Daydreamer Posted: Fri Aug 21, 2009 8:41 pm I’m not sure I am using this forum correctly or not but I realy want to post a short story that I hope will be encouraging to most. I had been on an 8mg a day dose of Subutex for nearly a year after withdrawing from a morphine habit that varied wildly in the amount and frequency of useage. I was very happy with the Subutex. In fact on it I felt better than I ever had in my life and I am 59 years old. The problem is that I am unemployed and I was concerned about the day that I might no longer be able to afford the $400 a month I pay for my monthly medical appointment and RX cost without insurance. So at first I thought about tapering down but what happened is that my doctor fell ill…MedWorm Message: Get the very latest Swine Flu news via the MedWorm Swine Flu RSS news feed – updated hourly from thousands of authoritative health and news sources.

Author: NorCalGirl Posted: Fri Aug 21, 2009 11:04 am Hey All: There actually is something that works wonders for the “kick” and for the RLS. I have used it the last few times and it has worked phenomenally. Its Requip, what Requip does is helps your brain produce dopamine which is what our brains have a hard time doing after abusing it for so long. And it is actually prescribed for RLS. Just for this addict, it worked wonders. Thanks everybody. Author: jamez70 Posted: Fri Aug 21, 2009 1:16 am Jim’s useless tidbit: Parallax scrolling was usually done in hardware, because in software it would take up too much time. You draw the pixels offscreen and shift the start address of the screen to ‘scroll’ it basically. Wow, all the college and computer programming actually has some use for once!
