I want to quit taking the oxycontin because I’m worried for my baby, my doctor says it’s ok and she would rather me be on it than on suboxone. I don’t feel it is safe and I’m afraid it’s hurting my unborn baby. I heard if i quit cold turkey I could loose the baby because of the stress of the withdrawls and I have gone through that before and it was hell, if I knew my baby would be safe I would go through it again in a heart beat but I don’t want to risk loosing my baby. Whta should I do? Is Methadone detoxing safe while pregnant, what about Suboxone or Subutex without the Naloxone? I am willing to live the rest of my life in pain and deal with my back problems if it means giving birth to a healthy baby. Please I just want to know what I should do, what is the best way to get off the oxycontin that wont hurt my baby.
I took a half of a 8mg pill. this morning. I am going to try and take half’s today, sun, and mon. I may call in to work. I do Not want to take vicodin anymore i have been addicted for years now. Also i want and need to tell my fiance but i just can’t. Anyhow i just want to be sure i won’t get addicted to another pill. And go on with my life. So does anyone know if i will feel withdraws after three days? I did get them from a doctor. they reassured me but do they really know they haven’t taken the drug!
I have been on Opana and Oxycodone for a long while now due to extreme back pain. I said screw it, I’d rather deal with crippling pain than what I am going through with these pain meds. What is suboxone treatment? Will it really take away withdrawal? They said the treatment takes months… Can I make it take less time? I don’t want to rely on yet ANOTHER medicine……PLEASE HELP AND ANSWER WHATEVER YOU KNOW, I’m very very nervous!!!

Every month my doctor has been prescribing me the medication suboxone. It is a medication that I have been taking soon after he weaned me off percocets. My insurance is medicaid, along with Americhoice as my HMO. This month however, I had a hard time getting the med filled out at the pharnacy. No #1, Americhoice claims that it no longer covers the medication, and therefore my medicaid does. Yet when they tried processing it with the medicaid, it denied it and prompted for my doctor to call a number they had given me in order for him to do a pre-authorization. Why is this??
I have been taking 6-10 30mg oxycodone pills daily for several months. I want to stop and will be taking a urine screen sometime soon. I am wondering how long it will take before the oxy will not show on a urine screen. I understand that due to my heavy and consistent use I have built it up in my system so it will, inevitably, take a long time. I am debating on taking either Methadone or Suboxone to aid in discontinuing the oxycodone. I have heard that Methadone will stay in the system for a very long time. I assume Suboxone will also. Does anyone have suggestions as to which one will be evacuated quicker? I need to be COMPLETELY clean when I take this test— and any input you have would be much appreciated. So just to recap– I am wondering how long it will take to get oxycodone out of my system/urine after I quite taking it. How long will it take methadone or suboxone. Also— if anyone has any input on any particular product that I can take to pass the drug test. I have never taken a drug test before so I really know nothing about the process or what to do. PLEASE HELP!!!
